There has been a strong interest in outside wedding receptions in the past few years. Some like the calming feel of the water, others keep in mind the driving time and make arrangements for a ceremony at a nearby park gazebo or a sanctuary. Other great ideas are local historical sites or even an art gallery. If you have the ceremony outside, the reception can be outside as well. You will be able to invite everyone you like if it is outdoors.

If you prefer to have the wedding reception inside, you can narrow down your options by considering your guest list first. If you do not want to compromise on the guest list, you may need to settle on a less high end reception.
